IT decision audit
Buying new software (ERP, WMS, CRM)? In two weeks I give you an independent, honest verdict: buy, don’t buy or wait. The audit reduces the risk of a wrong IT decision and ties the choice to what your company actually needs.
A clear decision in 2 weeks
BUY, DON’T BUY or WAIT — one clear page without IT jargon. A fixed-price (€2,500) independent assessment that makes the main risks visible before you invest.
Realistic options
Three alternative paths with budget and risks: simple (€0–5k), medium (€10–30k) and thorough (€50–100k). You know exactly what you really need.
A concrete action plan
30-60-90-day steps and the critical questions to ask the IT vendor, so you avoid hidden costs and inflated promises.
Clear deliverable and experience
If the agreed deliverable is incomplete, we complete it free of charge. I have sat on every side of the table: as an ERP vendor, as an enterprise buyer (Estonian Railways) and as an entrepreneur (Klick Eesti, 0→30 stores).
Two ways to start
First step
Quick review of an offer or contract
€590
One offer or contract draft, two working days, a short written memo: main risks, missing clauses, questions for the vendor and a recommendation on whether to proceed.
Full scope

How the audit works
- 1
Free 30-minute call
You tell me what you plan to buy and why. I tell you honestly whether an audit helps in your situation.

Materials
Offers, contract draft, current processes and numbers. I review them without the vendor in the room.
- 3
Analysis, 2 weeks
Needs versus offers, three alternative paths with budget and risks, critical questions for the vendor.
- 4
Decision memo
One clear page: buy, don’t buy or wait, with 30-60-90-day steps. We walk through it together.
Prices are fixed: quick review €590, independent audit €2,500, no VAT added. If the agreed deliverable is incomplete, I complete it free of charge. Navik sells and resells no software, so I have no stake in any particular answer.
Frequently asked questions
What is an independent IT audit?▼
An assessment of a software purchase decision by someone who sells no solution and receives no commission from any vendor. Navik does not resell licences, and after the audit you may choose any implementation partner.
When is the right time to order an audit?▼
Before you sign the contract, ideally when the offers are in but the decision is still open. After signature every change is expensive.
How long does the audit take and what do I receive?▼
Two weeks. The result is a one-page decision (buy, don’t buy or wait), three alternative paths with budget and risks, critical questions for the vendor and a 30-60-90-day plan.
How much does the audit cost?▼
The independent audit costs a fixed €2,500 regardless of company size. A quick review of one offer or contract costs €590 and takes two working days. No VAT is added. If the agreed deliverable is incomplete, I complete it at no extra charge.
Is the audit suitable for a small company?▼
Yes, when the decision is significant and multi-year for the business, for example ERP, CRM or warehouse software. For a smaller decision the €590 quick review is often enough; I tell you which fits at the end of the free 30-minute call.
